Mia studied Applied Behavioral Sciences with a focus in Early Childhood (education, intervention, autism, and research) at the University of Kansas. Combining her passions from her early work as a preschool reading specialist and in-home/school ABA therapist for kids with autism, her first 200-hour yoga teacher training led her down an unexpected road to teach kids outside of the typical classroom.
Mia has dreamed of building a space where kids, babies, and parents of all background and abilities can find self-acceptance and love for themselves and one another. She believes each child has a voice, which can be fostered by a yoga mat and the right set of tools. Most importantly, Mia is passionate about building community and a safe space for all women to come together and grow and adjust to the new journey into motherhood.
